Windmill slam. Avowed was really good, Lost Records is queer AF and fun, Hades 2 was great, Wanderstop made me cry, Expedition 33 has been phenomenal so far, but nothing else had me so excited for release day and then grabbed ahold of me and didn’t let go until I was through.

...look, 2008 just didn't have a lot of releases from bands I listened to, let alone the whole album. It was this or Metallica's "Death Magnetic", which is a good album but commits the cardinal sin of having the worst entry in the Unforgiven trilogy
