Strong and northern. Also terrified of saying something foolish.
Yes, horrible woman, smug, patronising and rude about our country!

Bah sexual fantasy land for young men that young women can overpower them

When I did that on the way back from Peru a few years ago, there was not enough time on our flight to serve drinks to our row….I was so cross. Only wanted a cup of tea before the slog up the M1.
Have a nice trip.

For example all those not protected by agenda for change who teeter above minimum wage.

The graph only goes to 2018. I’d love to see an update.

This does not explain what a unit of activity whilst waiting is. Does it include blood tests, x-rays, triage phone calls whilst waiting? These can happen whilst the waiting patient is being monitored (or not) and any tests or activity in this time may be necessary or not.

My husband is v v critical of Labour for the slightest issue (expecting higher standards) - drives me nuts and is unfair. I agree with you.
December 1, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Die hard labour voters often hold their own mps to a higher standard.

Which party is most likely to increase taxes on pensioners or make us pay national insurance? That’s what I want to happen.

Rump

Start by taxing Brexit voters - two out of four voters in my family.

Hi again. I’m not sure that you mean me here. If you do please don’t make assumptions about me, including my gender and political activities. TT
November 18, 2025 at 11:22 AM
Hi. I am not being touchy and I certainly wouldn’t ask you to change - I don’t even know you. My point was that I don’t think it’s helpful to lump people/make assumptions etc. which applies to all ages. I don’t like ‘all …. are the same’ comments.
November 18, 2025 at 11:13 AM
Please don’t lump ‘older people’ together. It’s very condescending - like saying all young people are the same etc. No one I know in my mid 60s peer group would dream of supporting reform. I would vote Tory before reform and I would never vote Tory!

As my dad would have said ‘a proper doctor’. He had a phD, I only had a medical degree.
Congratulations!

Tax me too. Retired with 35,000 work pension, I would happily pay more.

Ahh thank you from Sheffield. Personally I’m already fed up with all the Christmas stuff going up. However I do remember the Christmas lights in the park put up by my friend’s dad for the council back in the 1960s. They were lovely and featured teddy bears.

My experience is that it’s the anti migrant/brexit/protect the borders/were overcrowded rhetoric that appeals to some older people. Added to disappointment that Labour doesn’t have a magic wand - and is badly organised and ineffectual with intellectual lightweights and ‘lacking’ ministers!
