And yes, the sheer audacity of citing a study from fucking 2014 as "proof" that administrators are using AI tools daily, as if the state of things eleven years ago is in any way comparable, is amazing.

I swear, the amount of pollyanna bs like this towards AI is ridiculous. Yes, there's some degree of closed-mindedness in the AI-skeptical community*, but this just tilts to the complete opposite extreme, with no willingness to question it at all, and an assumption of bad faith from skeptics. (1/2)

Let’s be honest—does anyone truly believe that the very same educators and administrators aren’t already using AI tools every single day in their own work, often without thinking twice (Brynjolfsson & McAfee, 2014)?
