If something goes wrong in Star Trek, they call down to engineering. In Star Wars, Han runs around the ship and makes a reference to Chewie about thinking that it was fixed on some other planet. In Alien, you just punch it to make it start working again and complain about your ex-wife.

The vibe of space within Alien (well, at least the first film - and Isolation which takes so many cues from it) is a big, big part of why I love it so much. Just the whole "what we are doing here is so run-of-the-mill" feeling is absolutely CHOICE. And I love retro computer stuff too.

From what I can tell, they made some attribute checks scale with you in 2.0 - I'm guessing this might be an oversight or a bug.

This is especially egregious after what he pulled on Bilbo in Chapter 1 of the Hobbit. My personal nightmare is an omnipresent, powerful and ageless being inviting a dozen people into my house - all with different dietary concerns.

I 100% do this and still act like I've seen the movie. While at the same time, I tell everyone that I never watch movies - so basically what I'm getting at here is that my façade is paper thin.
