I live in such a beautiful province. I wish I had more time, and less arthritis, to be out enjoying it.

Finished writing my first murder mystery novel last week. Came in about 90,400 words, but after a pass with grammarly to remove redundant words, it sits about 89,700 words. Now to editing.

Trying to pretend what’s happening in the US today isn’t.. just for a few more hours. But the dread creeps in. So much progress being set back. I know backlash is a normal part of the cycle of change in history, but that does not make watching it any easier.

Sitting in the cold office, wishing working from home would become the trend again as I prepare for another virtual meeting…

Wrapping up in a blanket and listening to the storm starting outside. It’s cold enough that it might actually snow.
