Took a break. Been trying to scale back rage-posting. But I miss what it was like in 2007 when I loved Twitter and found community there. So I’m back. Hi, everyone. I hope you had a great Independence Day, and remember that what we celebrated yesterday was the birth of an idea we can still achieve.

Vance has no idea why he wasn’t included on the Signal chat about red ties, Rubio is sh*tting his pants, and Hesgeth is drunk.

This is being built into the budget reconciliation bill. This is VERY BAD DANGER WILL ROBINSON.

CALL YOUR REPS.

Call your electeds and tell them about this clause and DEMAND that AI be subject to MORE regulation & DEMAND that this be removed IMMEDIATELY from ANY legislation! This is a real 🚨🚨🚨🚨

This is, in fact, what democracy looks like, no matter what anyone tries to tell you. Today is the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride and tyranny is at our door once again. Rise up.

If not now, when? And if not you, who?

The fact that the dictator is claiming he doesn’t have to follow a unanimous SCOTUS ruling to return a man wrongfully deported (let’s be honest, he was sold) to a foreign government is not at MINIMUM above-the-fold news in the MSM is astonishing. If we have no due process, the economy is moot.

@booker.senate.gov shouts out Gen X touchstone Schoolhouse Rock while breaking the filibuster record of a white supremacist and segregationist, a Black man fighting for democracy in peril from the floor of the people’s house and this—this is why I fight.

Gonna order these and carry them around town (they’re our electeds) and have people ask them why they voted for decorum and not democracy. I will make videos of the and post it everywhere all day every fucking day.

Ahhh so fun to be menopausal at the end of the world. Just me up at almost 2 am after a day of invasive tests on my chronically sick kid in a hospital setting, dreading the next work day so much that I’m revenge procrastinating with a dystopian drama.

Oscar-nominated documentary “No Other Land” is not available for streaming in the US, and that’s a crime. We went to see it today and as devastating as it was, it also reminded me how important it is to tell the truth, no matter how inconvenient it may be for the military-industrial complex.

In all seriousness, living abroad in the late 1980s was a life-changing experience. And sometimes—often—a sobering one.
