This screenshot I took relatively recently really sums up Quake E2M6, and really most levels afterwards.

Behold; a Die-Hard Mask
A picture from the TF2 wiki, demonstrating the Spy's "Dead Head" cosmetic with the "After Eight" paint colour. The Dead Head is a stylised skull mask, with sharp cheekbones and eyebrows, and dark grey portions in the nose-hole, in the gap between the lower and upper jaws, and around the eyes. The teeth are blocky and white. Because the mask has been painted with the "After Eight" paint colour, most of it (aside from the aforementioned grey portions and white teeth) is dark olive-green. Under the mask, the Spy is wearing a dark-red balaclava, and a cigarette can be seen poking through the skull mask.

The Gauntlet from Quake IV's multiplayer mode. It's a very rusty mechanical gauntlet with segments on the back part (like. Where the forearm goes I guess?) The front of the gauntlet is silver, with warning stripes in the middle. A bloodstained sawblade with large, seemingly hinged blades is attached. It looks kinda ridiculous, and I'm saying that as someone who unironically loves edgy mid-to-late 2000s sci-fi aesthetics. The Saturnite Fist from Fallout: New Vegas. It is a turquoise dieselpunk contraption attached to a glove, with metal finger covers for. I'm sure a very good reason. Above the fingers is a block with a metal plate attached to the front, and pistons attached to the back. On the top of the block, and on the side of the main body of the mechanism, are simplified pictures of the planet Saturn with "Saturnite" written underneath them. The Fists of Steel from Team Fortress 2. They are a pair of beige gauntlets made out of bolted-together metal plates; the wrist is made out of ribbed black rubber, and there is more in the finger joints. That's it that's the entire description.

Realms of the Haunting is like. Kinda awkward to play, and the cutscenes are kinda cheesy, but *wow* is it pretty.

Spmeone in a bizarre hybrid of like. A pre-reclined recliner and a computer desk. Their monitor (a big bulky CRT) is at a roughly 35° angle and held in place via a small strap and a pair of vertical hook things that protrude up underneath the actual screen and presumably prevent it from moving forwards. Also the keyboard is like 90° upwards, and appears to be placed above the person's groin, so uh. Yeah

As for the pie *eating* competition...
An antique knife and fork. The former has a very fancy decorative thingy at the back of the blade, while the latter has two prongs because. It's old and I guess that's what forks were like back then. The handles of both utensils have flintlock mechanisms embedded into them, with the barrel being located in the bottom part of the handle.

A fake one of those things where it's like. A quote from a dead person. But the quote is three ellipses, and the attributed person is a Blokkablok from Super Mario 3D Land, with its birth and death dates both being 2011. The Blokkablok is visible on the right-hand side of the image; it's a snake-like creature with a pointed head with conical spikes on the top, bottom, left and right sides, and a body made out of bricks with spikes on the top. It is entirely greyed out.

Also obligatory Fun Facts with Lynn Beck! The DS version of Bionicle Heroes, for some reason, includes the canonised fan-designed creature called the Frost Beetle as a recurring late-game miniboss.
The Frost Beetle from Bionicle. It is a four-legged, somewhat insectoid creature, with four arms (two have a pair of two-pronged claw things, while the other two have long blades). It also has a pair of cyan eyes. A screenshot of the DS version of Bionicle Heroes DS, depicting the game's heavily-simplified version of the Frost beetle. While the overall design is similar, the DS's technical limitations have smoothed out parts of the design, and its eyes are smaller and more green. On the bottom-left of the image is a vertically-oriented health-bar, with a darker-red shield symbol on it. Next to that is a hexagonal yellow energy metre with a white lightning bolt symbol. On the bottom-right is a strange orange sci-fi weapon, with fire coming out of the front. The myth, the man, the legend... Dezalk.

I was thinking about the "he's groovy, and never glooby" line and I realised it remined me of something...
