it seems to be following something like kuuga's approach, which is nice

like it's crazy how Fuwamallow and Zakuzaku/Hirihiri are still in use at the end of the series when there's two (technically three) established Best Forms like Over/Master. but even then, those forms have downsides that other forms don't, and upsides that others don't. it rules!!

kamen riders. only other show we can say that follows a similar approach while being Extremely Toyetic is W or Gaim, maybe? we've yet to watch Gotchard or Zero One so maybe there's some more form stuff there, but Gavv really has a strong sense of identity and place within it's forms.
