I set up this Little Free Print Gallery on our fence in Seattle so that passersby could take home art made by myself and other printmakers in the area.

I teach etching and I try to really zero in on working towards learning the specific technique with new students and to ask them what it is that's important for them to get out of the specific class or exercise and then try to help them do that while staying pretty neutral on the actual image.

I sold a hat to William Shatner.

Ooh, love to see some classic pochoir illustration! Time consuming, fussy and incredible results.

I definitely already see how valuable people find originals as a printmaker. My etching sales have gone up in the last few years because I think folks really respond to these being objects that were entirely crafted by one human. I am lucky that I can keep my smaller prints affordable, which helps.

Most vets spay rats for pyo but if they are in such poor shape that the surgery survival seems dicey, they can try antibiotics and antiinflammatories. But usually they want to do a spay after getting the rat back to health as a future preventative. At least that has been my experience.

Sadly a bit too far a journey for them. They're quite comfy here for the foreseeable future but I hope to find them the absolute best forever home for them to grow old in. They have seen much loss and I just want the best for these sweet kitties going forward.

We're in Seattle but I am willing to make a couple hours drive to get them to the absolute perfect unicorn of a home if necessary. They're 10 years old and siblings, well loved but went through some rough times in the last six months. Great personality, friendly and good litter box manners thus far.
