Hi! Kids do have free passes in the summer. Starting 2024, omni cards work year-round (even weekends!) and include 4 rides per day, which is an increase from 3 rides with the old card. As a parent of 2, it's been awesome not having to worry about the expense of their travel too. omny.info/students

I found a pharmacist who agreed to call my insurance. She found out that I had to get specific medical benefit #. So I did—after frustrating 10 mins on phone w/ agent who swore the # didn't exist & I couldn't call the provider line to get it myself. I finally persuaded her to call for me. And lo!

I did! I went to 3 listed by insurance as taking the plan. No dice. At one point, I called 311 and found a pharmacy that gives free shots to kids without insurance. But! To be eligible, I would have to say my kids don't have insurance. So insurance fraud?? It has been a wild ride.
