The EU has nothing to prove to Trump or to the US. When the US has as much under its belt in terms of history and accomplishments, maybe then the US can be held at our level. Until then, nothing to see here.

NEVER fly JetBlue! Them and American Airlines are by far the two worst I've ever been on. Terrible planes and horrible service.

Welllll...not exactly true. In Chile, for instance, in the 1970s, the US government provided actual support to Pinochet to overthrow the democratically electee government of Allende. And Chile is only one of many countries where that happened. The US has ALWAYS acted in its own interests first.

Actually, the US has only ever been looking out for its own interests. Never a real ally, just looking for the transaction. So don't feel too bad. This has always been the real USA, once you strip away the propaganda and indoctrination foisted upon you.

As someone born in rural Pennsylvania, my advice to you friendly Canadians is to cut your losses short and cut those ties. So many US Americans are against anyone not from there. Including you. When the tides have changed, readdress the situation.
