I can see that, and the concern about poaching players, but it still seems more like spite to me, and more importantly, disrespectful to the players if they wanted him to finish the season. Sumrall is going to Florida, and it looks like he is going to coach Tulane's next game(s).

What am I missing here. Why would Ole Miss's AD not let Kiffin finish the year with his team? It just seems cruel to the players.
