That's a battle cry from long ago. Have you ever actually heard an old person say that? I'm 71 and I live in a Fossilized Community. None of us is stupid or selfish enough to think that, and if we did, we wouldn't say it out loud.

That's the theory, but there's a third way besides what we have now and NHS: Kaiser. I pay them whether I see them or not. They're insurance. But also, they apply the premiums to actual care, not just to a staff of underwriters and claim adjusters trying to create wealth for the insurance company.
