We just lost our cat Marley on Sunday. She was 21 3/4 years old and was with us through a lot. It’s so hard to lose them.

So hard to lose them - cats are the best! Our Grande Dame, Marley is 21 and 1/2; definitely fewer days ahead than behind but still a force to be reckoned with in our home.

We had a small earthquake here last week. I didn’t notice the problem with the cabinet above the refrigerator until today. Apparently the vibration of the heavy vintage glass caused two of the plastic clips to fail. Everything from the top shelf spilled out and broken glass went everywhere!

She looks a bit like our Little Phoebe we lost last July. It’s so hard to lose them.
