I phrase it as not knowingly. Across this pandemic my husband and I have had two colds each- daily testing inc Day 5 so six days of testing. He never knowingly has had COVID, me once on a routine precautionary RAT before a group picnic. I have silly tonsils so have had PCR’s, lots of RAT’s.

My cat comes inside through the lounge ranch slider, I then follow her down eight stairs and seven stairs to the laundry door which I open for her to go out. (She prefers these to the pet flap door.)

I hate being asked how my day is going, or how I am.

I don’t know why in that environment the Government’s current masking advice of COVID isn’t promoted even.

My 1 yr old cousin died of measles 12 days before I was born. I’m named after his mother.

Aside from its prohibitive cost, anyone not over 75, immunosuppressed, or resident in elder care, can get a vaccine if paying?
October 26, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Don’t you think, if there was current pandemic disease prevention with better ventilation/mask use there may be less escalation of measles and generally less overall respiratory spread illness needing medical care?

Meanwhile I can never understand the capturing of these photos while here I am trying not to spread the disease of a current pandemic.

Fortunate in Aotearoa New Zealand to still be free.

Surprised in a pandemic that a vaccine for its disease costs so much.

And not a lot of refreshing that air unfortunately.

If the first dose has been given at 65 the second is funded too. Older age groups were eligible for the previous Zostavax.

Bromley still has issues?! Each house affected should should have an air purifier given to it.
Isn’t it less than a month ago there was the news that poor indoor air quality cost NZ about one billion dollars a year?

Thank you- looked up my area, which is soft water so less calcium. Luckily not needing infusions, my mother had osteoporosis so I’ve tried to be one step ahead. Liked the interview with this endocrinologist last year: www.rnz.co.nz/national/pro...
