Is anyone else concerned that the focus on this ONE case is blunting the message that ALL these deportations to a Salvadoran concentration camp are unconstitutional because they were deprived due process using the Alien Enemies Act? We don't even know who some of them are! firsttheycamefor.com

In America, now, and Flori-duh! A US Citizen was held by ICE on a 48-hour hold even after his mother showed his birth certificate to a judge, who then declared that there was no probable cause to hold him. What if his mother hadn't had his birth certificate? Could he have wound up in El Salvador?

It seems the clincher is that OUR TAXPAYER DOLLARS are being sent to El Salvador to pay for these human rights abuses, but the president doesn't have the authority to direct money be spent this way. CONGRESS needs to stand up and take their power back from this monster. Stop the $$

For someone so interested in being sure the military is a "meritocracy," Pete Hegseth should be able to recognize that he doesn't merit the job of Secretary of Defense. Even without the allegations of drinking on the job and sexual assault, he isn't qualified for the job.
