Saw Ladysmith Black Mambaza tonight on the 31st anniversary of South Africa's first democratic government. What a poignant reminder of what we are so close to losing.

Tonight, a Hemingway Daiquiri. 2 oz white rum (though I used Avua Jequitibá Rosa Cachaça), 3/4 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz grapefruit juice, 1/2 oz Maraschino liqueur. A recent find and a new favorite.
