I am still having difficulty adapting to the skinny little Bluesky format. I feel constrained. Maybe that is good. Maybe we should feel more constrained on social media.

Methinks that the president and his nest of rats protest too much. Why did they ever bring up the Epstein files in the first place if they knew they could present a problem. Big oops .

Note to Democratic leaders. As much as we long for the cool statesmanship of an Obama, there is a part of us that wants to fight back, even it means playing tit for tat. Like it or not, all of our greatest heros played some dirty pool .Gavin Newsome may be onto something.

I grew up believing that both the USA and Israel were countries that strived to be good . Not anymore. I am conflicted. I know both countries have good , brave, kind people but I almost wish I believed in a God that works in history because , if there was, both of them would be punished mightily .

It amazes me that we have fallen into another DFT pothole. How handy that he is using the political correctness of protecting Jews as a way to manipulate . When has DFT ever expressed concern about hate ever before it became a political toy for him?

Why would I read the News on Bluesky since I can only read it if I already have an account independent of Bluesky? Why wouldn’t I just go directly to NYT where I don’t have to sign in every time I want to read something? I am confused

Is eligibility to register to vote federally or locally determined? Americans at the idea of having a national identity card. I don’t remember having to produce a birth certificate when I registered for my driver’s license or social security card, but I was White, why would anyone question me.

What can our representatives do?I guess filibuster and file law suits?What can we do? Civil disobedience. Be a teenager again. Tune them out. Beg forgiveness not permission. Forget what the rule is. Don’t be rude or strident. Just gently and quietly disobey.

Is there a lawsuit to bring the guy back from Salvador or has he already been murdered?If so ,his family should be able to sue the government for causing his death.

Like many, I want to DO something. At at this point, instead of retail therapy I am sending money to the ACLU. There is something cleansing in not spending money on more stuff, and, instead, supporting those who are fighting back.
