I live near several Gristedes supermarkets. They are already failing because they haven’t kept up with their competition. I’m surprised these stores didn’t close a year ago when better alternatives (that are now jam-packed) moved into the neighborhood.

Hi #kidlitchat! I’ve been busy with a couple of translation (Portuguese to English) projects, a picture book and a middle grade novel. Working ever so slowly on my own upper middle grade novel and pondering a picture book bio.

Flying private is even more dangerous as we saw with that plane that crashed in San Diego last week due in part to a flawed weather forecast and runway lights not working in fog.

Writers and artists have gone into exile in the past for all sorts of reasons. As someone who is now struggling to write under this regime for emotional reasons, I would rather see their work get done irrespective of where they’ve chosen to do it.
