Deliciously fragrant and pretty much immune to my neglect. I think it is called For Your Eyes or something similar, anyway it is a highly recommend and worth a space In any garden. Bees look really happy frolicking in the yellow centres 🌱

One of the delights of spring in the garden is the light colour of the new foliage on the Copper Beech. The new leaves first appear on the top branches and progressively appear further down the tree until it is this wonderful delicate copper. It then gets darker as spring turns to summer 🌱

After spending 5mins scrolling twitter and then listening to the Leader of the Opposition on RNZ, I did what any sane person would do. I went out and voted, while wearing my Unionise t-shirt. I'm in Tauranga if anyone needs a lift to the voting station

I've been a gardener for the wealthy and infirmed for 27yrs..today I drove past a garden I maintained for amost 10yrs, trees over 80yrs old all being ripped out to be replaced with paving. The whole garden could have been greenspace for the new subdivision, enjoyed by the public for decades to come
