I have friends in both. It’s not a hard field to get into, in fact it’s a free field to get into. Writing a book is free. It’s having it be any good afterwards that costs money.

Okay, fiction is built on suspension of disbelief, aka, ignore inconsistency cause it makes the story better. Which is why I adore when reality is injected into moments usually played off for story convinience.

Realistic consequences in a story. I think the funniest thing I’ve ever seen is the episode of Gallavant when the day following the training montage he is too sore to move.
