Are you serious? A pedestrian doesn't collide with a truck, they are hit by a truck

Super Furry Animals....fuzzy logic to radiator. Although I love both of them, Radiator is highlight after highlight. Would also say the jump in quality from Core to Purple from Stone Temple Pilots is an even greater leap.

I'm sure it doesn't meet the strict criteria of the definition, but isn't the IFA an NGO, or do they believe that they are a government department? Either way...they need to have a look at Ireland's rivers and lakes and wake up.

I think there is a connection. I believe Antrim hurling used to be more about ground hurling than say Munster hurling. Also ancient evidence of Gallowglass hurlers...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallowglass

With the notable exception of Antrim, it is the "border" for senior Hurling competition. I'm sure he was referring to that.

Leicester Celtic? Not even sure they are still going. Depends how big you define Rathfarnham (trials were opposite Nutgrove)!

Playing Gaelic and hurling in Europe and the UK, the clubs will take anyone and are overwhelmingly welcoming. My experience with my kids in London is that the soccer clubs are only interested if the kids are good, whereas the GAA clubs in London give everyone a chance. (2/2).

I don't think there's any perfect organisation and sometimes the GAA at home can project that idea. My own experience in Rathfarnham a looong time ago, was that the soccer clubs had trials to get in any team, but the GAA would take anyone. (1/2)

Absolutely. It's under the Wales subsection of the BBC news website. If this was a Farage quote about immigration it would be a banner headline.

Nirvana for impact. Pearl Jam for range. Could even say Soundgarden for really kicking the door open for Seattle based bands

Fair's fair! Release by Pearl Jam...the Point, 1996. It was missing from my cassette copy of Ten, but they opened with it and it blew me away.

Is it cheating to suggest an entire band? Oasis supporting REM at Slane 95. Was not arsed at all, but they were unbelievably good that day

Brought my English wife to Collins Barracks. Asked her why she was so mad. "How would you like it if you had to confront your country's crimes". Well quite. But they're not her crimes. The thing about the past is to learn from it, not judge the present
