I recently saw a graph that attributed as many vehicle fatalities to 80+-year-olds as to teenage drivers. We need to build cities that are accessible for people who don’t drive!
What is stunning to me are the number of people in the replies saying that because the driver was old he should not face consequences for killing a child with a car, and I remain absolutely boggled at how car-brained our society is that there’s a defense of letting this person continue to drive
In order to eliminate any inconvenience to cars, we’ve made it illegal for children to be children
