It's #cybermonday and this is your reminder that #weaintbuyingit You don't have to shop at all, but if you can't fight the urge, at least shop with those who support you. Check out www.shopthehood.store for quality brands from around the globe

The holidays are supposed to be about family, gratitude, and community... not about funding companies that harm ours. From Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, shop with those who support you. Shop local and in person when possible, but most of all, shop consciously. weaintbuyingit.com #WeAintBuyingIt

Did you know we have a farm? We are working to expand access to fresh food in the West End and provide space for community to grow themselves.

Love these two. OG Community Health Workers at the League. Literally help start a movement for CHWs in Louisville. They love this city and it shows in everything they do, even 10 years later.

Have you given yet? Have you made your list of who you're giving (I hope LUL is on there). I'm making mine.

The clock has started. Happy giving! mtyc.co/iq5g0g

Early giving for Give for Good Louisville has started. I hope that the Louisville Urban League is on your list of organizations to support this year. In the face of unprecedented cuts and attacks, we need your support now, more than ever. I hope you will join us Sept. 18 (or before)! mtyc.co/du4e5g

The Wiz is always a good time! The play is far better than the movie (argue with your momma). But who is in the audience matters. Louisville, if you're going to the show, talk back to actors. Sing along. Clap. Engage! It will make it better!

How do we measure justice? It is more than arrests made, disciplinary actions, settlements, and empty promises. Justice requires real change. Five years ago, Breonna Taylor's life was stolen. Five years later, justice is still unfulfilled, but we remain undeterred. #BreonnaTaylor #5YearsTooLong

In Junior Bridgeman, Louisville and world lost quiet yet powerful dream maker. He used all the tools God gave him to help others achieve their ambitions. The world needs more like him, not less. Rest in power.

Today, I joined thousands of people, our Governor, and many in the Urban League Movement in making the pilgrimage across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in commemoration of #BloodySunday. It was a necessary reminder of what is required to earn and maintain our freedom. Let's go!
