... I think it's impressive that Claude did so well. The story is not that vibe coding doesn't work for non-software engineers, it should be that training models to be good at refactoring would bring huge gains to a real world problem.

... all software engineering projects hit this wall where it's difficult to add new features to a project that wasn't architectured for it, possibly because of missing requirements capture at the beginning. So an AI coding model isn't good at refactoring - but humans aren't good at it either ...

I'd argue that's not creating content but fair enough, I'll give you that it is still in use. As DVB-T2 supports HEVC and VVC the need for interlacing will diminish.
