My #LEGO #WinterVillage display is complete for this year. I've stopped short of adding any landscaping parts (i.e. the "tricky bit"), but there's always next year for getting creative with that.

Meanwhile, I'll continue to enjoy this display as it stands for the next month or so. #MerryChristmas!

Continuing my #Railway200 celebrations, I'd hoped to complete my build of the #LEGO #OrientExpress train yesterday, but overdoing things on Thursday meant Friday was a bust (chronic fatigue sucks) so it slipped to today.

Here it is ready for my Winter Village display, on which I'll start this week.

Some #bellringing on my home bell tower to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day #INWED25 today: 144 changes of Kent Treble Bob Minor.

A bit of a challenge as I haven't rung any Treble Bob for at least four years... so I rang it twice for good measure.

I spent some time yesterday doing something I haven't done for more than three years: #bellringing. Not in a church tower (those days are *far* behind me), but in the comfort of my own home!

A suitable update to my website is coming, but meanwhile here's a photo of my setup to get you started.
My home Bell Tower, comprising a miniature wooden bell-frame with full-circle-ringable weighted wheel and turned wooden bell, mounted on a wooden shelf unit. The bell-rope with red/white/blue woollen sally passes from the wheel up through two pulleys attached to the ceiling above, to hang beside the shelf unit "Tower".
