I use it as the first step in making paintings. Much easier to work out design elements in a sketchbook. Then I use watercolor pencils to copy the design to the canvas. It makes a huge difference.

I used to read my anatomy and physiology textbook to my son when he was a baby. I think he really loved the section about the endocrine system!

About 40, 50 yrs ago some people were collecting welfare from both Chicago and Milwaukee. Intelligent people never thought that it was a majority of poor people doing that. Anyway, I believe the loophole that allowed that has been closed. That's where the term Welfare Queens originated.
