On boat home yesterday came up french side of channel v slow- not a single big shear & barely a balearic BUT between Roscoff & CI i had a patch with 8-10 tight rafts of ESP + constant mobile birds…very conservative guess was 2k birds but likely a lot lot more…fascinating

Poor winds (E or NEE) so v little stuff zooming thru…i did get one good evening with a NNE & hundreds sooties, 4 skuas (not 5) etc…found it a bit high & the birds fast so will have to for longer to get used to it
