This is Feather. A rescue team captured her as a 8-week-old puppy foraging for food in the Arizona desert - abandoned and left to become coyote food. When we adopted her, she was unfamiliar with people, cars, houses, streets ... everything. It's been a long challenging adoption but she's the best!

We rescued 'Roo from the pound. Today is her birthday. She is 13.
