Hello Kat

Lmao the outfit works well enough but what really sells it for me is uneasy smile and the eyes seemingly avoiding direct contact. She strikes me as someone thinking about the next attempt before the first can even fail 😆❤️

Nah nah nah it's perfect! It makes her approachable!

Sidenote; I bet your underground faves are sick as hell. Your Old Droog, Roc Marciano, and I've been diving into Billy Woods

RIGHT! Like is it an accessibility and popularity thing or is it just a matter of style and being homegrown. Example; MF DOOMs work is way more popular than it was in his heyday but that doesn't change the fact that it's still stylistically so far from commercial that it's still underground?

Is underground simply just music made without a machine backing it? Or is it deeper. Just my sleep deprived yapping. Thanks for your patience

Lmao the more I think the more I blur the lines between underground and indie. Interchangeable? Not at all? Idek anymore 🤣

I think maybe it has to be a tad less accessible to be considered underground; the type of projects you wouldn't have found on store shelves (when everything was physical). Now that I think more, does the label underground automatically imply "experimental"? That's a really dope question man

I guess a few factors: independent, non-conforming to mainstream sensibilities, potentially challenging, other than that I'm not really sure. Sonically it can go anywhere; and I'm not sure if popularity is what makes or breaks something being "underground" hmmm to be continued lol
