If you want to stay at your desk, clean some data. Anything messy will do. Or unsubscribe from email lists and delete emails. If you are willing to venture back out, go for a walk or go up and down the stairs a few times. Muttering to yourself optional. Hope your day improves!

#maptimeDavis met today! Every other week we have a community work session where people bring their own stuff to work on and ask each other for help as things come up. #maptime

We're GIS specialists, of course we're going to take a picture of the survey marker! (Found hiking near Mount Shasta)

Looking forward to seeing you more! I have not yet started posting much, it's a little quiet over here, but having more mappy people around will be a boost. Definitely miss old mappy Twitter.

Do you need any plums? Our tree is literally cracking under the weight of the fruit.

I try to do concurrently; I try to roll out a field collection procedure when the field collection starts, and that's a good chunk of the metadata (what does this field mean and how do you use it). Once collection starts, it's out of your hands and you're on to the next thing.

Very cool! I like the circle around the grid of the city

I am thinking about the same! I used to tow a bike trailer but my back doesn't like it anymore and the ankle biters that rode in it now eat a trunk full of groceries a week. Seems like a good option for around town.

There’s an app for that (or a database anyone) bc everyday Americans are heroes sometimes :-)

You can see the ophiolite sequence from that book, and pillow basalts, near Monticello Dam on Hwy 128, east of Winters, CA, in Yolo County.

They are the worst. Happened to me once on a round of golf, was up all night soaking my legs in a cold bath. Ended up with prescription hydrocortisone, which I highly recommend.

Cheesecake, or really anything, from Pumpernik's deli in Hallendale, FL. And my grandma's blintzes.

Remember Pumpernik’s? The last of the originals closed years ago. But there was a revival
A reopened Jewish deli in Hialeah has brought back home-made corned beef on rye back to Miami-Dade. And lots of memories of a once-common site in South Florida.

I did use it as a kick in the pants to finally learn QGIS, and I'm glad I did, I really like Q. And I now manage an Esri Enterprise system so yeah, lots of ArcPro. You really will like Pro so much better than Map. Msg me if you need a boost! #gischat
