I know and rereading i didn’t want to send a smug message thinking Canadians are better. I think as humans we need to speak up to injustice. I love the US too and live a 10 minute drive from the border, i have family and friends there.

As a Canadian I feel a strong sense of betrayal and disappointment seeing the support this president has. I feel like I discovered I don’t really know the neighbours and friends we grew up next to at all. How is it possible to excuse and turn a blind eye to all this injustice and inhumanity. 😢
