Started coconut water to fix my low potassium levels. The prescribed supplement makes me so ill - turns out it’s related to my latex allergy. Like bananas. There’s no winning in this hypokalemia game. The good news is my low levels aren’t making me feel too unwell. But this is so tricky to manage.

After my little writing comp win, we did a little jaunt out in the sun. Drinks at the boating pool in Ramsgate to celebrate. Now I have my wheelchair I have more energy, less pain, more hours in the day, I’m happier. Getting my life back ✨ #disability #writer #disabledwriter

I have wheels 🥰 Hoping to leave the flat, see people, do things, without crashing for days/weeks #disability #mecfs

We have a tiny hotel room in London - the West End, Trafalgar/Leicester Square. It’s comfy, no windows, pitch dark & quiet - just the rumble of tubes far below ground (that we won’t need to travel on, due to this location, always a win).

I adore tiny spaces. They feel so cosy and safe.

I adore this novel. Slade House, by David Mitchell. It’s so clever. Every 9 years people go missing inside the same house. It could get repetitive - it doesn’t, at all. It’s a fabulously twisty mystery/paranormal fiction. The prose and use of 1st person/multiple pov is stunning 👏🏻 #booksky

I’m out of spoons but we had cake. My Dad isn’t on Bluesky, but I want to celebrate him here, because the vibes are good here. How is he 70 already? Where does the time go? Did I mention we had cake? Also, he’s now the spit of my grandfather 👴 🥰

Fluffy bedding is my new obsession. I don’t have this set yet, but it looks amazing. I have an emerald green fluffy duvet and pillows right now, it’s magical, it’s like sleeping inside a teddy bear. If you spend a lot of time in bed I recommend.

I read my first spicy book last month and my husband gets me this…

However, I do have a little erotic Bible fan fic in the archives. So, the answer Jesus is looking for is yes. See you at the pearly gates.

I’ve 12 poems in this anthology. My first published poetry. I’m honoured to be included alongside writers I admire. I also just found out I was a finalist in Globe Soup’s last 7 day story writing comp for my twisty home invasion story: Olivia. A good end to 2024 🍸 amzn.eu/d/0wTDErB

Did my 1st supermarket shop of 2024 in my Jim’ll Paint It Xmas conspiracy jumper. The photo does it no justice. It says, they know when you’re awake. Too much insomnia doomscrolling. Also, saw products in the wild, forgot how much choice there is 🤯 #disabled #disability @sirpaintalot.bsky.social
