Didn't post about it like two weeks ago when I did it but I completed my Living Dex for Z-A too and have just spent my time shiny hunting. I've gotten tons of shinies but some of the more notable ones are Delphox, Alpha Dragalge, Scolipede, Scrafty, Pumpkaboo and tonight I got Spritzee and Starmie

It is done. Every dex in every game with every dex reward. My long journey is finally at an end.

I mentioned a while back my quest to get all the free shinies from Pokémon Home. Well here's how that's going. Only Legends Arceus left... until Z-A in a couple weeks. I'm so excited

Charlie Kirk said the Second Amendment was worth all the mass shootings. So this feels relevant.

Started working on completing the Pokémon Home Dex for the shiny mythicals you get. Current progress is I finished the Let's Go dex and got my unevolvable shiny Meltan

Over the last week or so I've been working towards 100% completing my favorite Kirby game, Triple Deluxe. Never did the True Arena in any Kirby game so that was an experience... though oddly enough the thing I struggled most with was Dedede Drum Dash. I have no rhythm.

Retro Games Worth Playing Day 5: Astal

I really like Astal, it's not a super complicated game, doesn't reinvent the wheel or anything, it's just a fun 90s action platformer that's really pretty. The backgrounds are all pretty detailed water color paintings with a lot of life and animation. (contin)

Retro Games Worth Playing Day 4: Megaman the Wily Wars

A bit less obscure than I'd like for this... but I'm sick today. Leave me alone I'm eepy

Anyways Wily Wars is a compilation of 16 bit remakes of Megaman 1, 2 and 3 which is notable for the unique Wily Tower mode you unlock (continued)

Retro Games Worth Playing Day 3: Shantae

Shantae is a metroidvania inspired by the likes of Zelda 2 and Castlevania 2. You play as Shantae, a half genie shape shifter on her quest to stop the pirate Risky Boots from collecting the magical stones necessary to make a super weapon.

Retro Games Worth Playing Day 2: Alien Soldier

Alien Soldier is a run and gun style game along the lines of Contra. It's incredibly fast paced giving you a ton of mobility options making for a very frenetic experience. The game is almost entirely boss fights with only short segments (continued)

Retro Games Worth Playing Day 1: Maken X

Maken X is a first person action game developed by Atlus. You play as a sort of brain parasite that can jump from host to host over the course of the story, totally changing your playstyle. Who you inhabit also determines what levels you play. (1/2)

Turbografx 16: Castlevania Rondo of Blood

And finally we come to my final console. There are lots of cool games for Turbografx but I gotta give it to Rondo of Blood. This shit is peak Classicvania.

Atari Jaguar: Tempest 2000

Yes, I own an Atari Jaguar. And there really isn't a lot on it lol. Tempest 2000 is cool though.

Atari 7800: Pitfall 2

Well this is actually an Atari 2600 game, but I have a 7800 and not a 2600 so whatever. Anyways I don't have much to say about games of this era. It's fun I guess?

Xbox Series S/X: Sonic Unleashed

Is it actually a Series S/X game? No. But it runs at 60 FPS on Series S/X so I'm counting it. Unleashed is my favorite Sonic game. It was so amazingly designed and I'm so glad opinions have shifted now that it's playable at 60 FPS

Sega Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure 2/Phantasy Star Online

I can't pick between these two. Both of these games are masterpieces that were massively important to me growing up.

Sega Saturn: Castlevania Symphony of the Night

How many of you actually knew this version existed? Or that it has exclusive content Konami has never put in any rerelease. Unfortunately this game isn't at its best on Saturn but it's not competing with Tales of Phantasia on Saturn lol

Sega Genesis: Phantasy Star 2

If any Phantasy Star fans find this thread they'll be shocked I didn't pick 4, but personally I just love 2 so much even if 4 really is the better game. I think 2 was one of the GOATS of RPGs

Sega Master System: Phantasy Star

I love the Phantasy Star Series and realistically all of the first five entries deserve to be on this. But three are on Sega Genesis so wasn't meant to be. Phantasy Star 1 is 100% the best game on the Master System. Check out the Switch port if you wanna try it

Playstation Vita: Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havok

This VN was a fucking trip! Absolutely couldn't put it down when I got it. Would recommend
