It’s the best! I remember blowing minds in a production of Kiss Me Kate about the Great Vowel Shift of the 15th-16th century. Why did it come up, I don’t even know.

Realizing that Zelda was NOT the main character when I was 10 or so in the early 90s was truly a part of my feminist awakening. I had a whole idea of what the game was (we were not a Nintendo house) that came crashing down when it was finally explained to me.
