not to read animal farm once and have a complex but it does feel like some are more equal than others

i had an hour conversation with my friend's bf bc to him, saying "i hate men" is sexist to men. people need to understand
a- it's a fuckin hyperbole
b- it is not saying every man is bad it is saying that every man has either used their power to abuse woman, or that he could. i resent that power

progress is an illusion if one administration can destroy the social progress of the last several decades in only a month

History: “Eventually the incompetent fascists invariably lose power and then society recovers in a new and stronger way”

Me: “Oh, cool, so what has to happen for the spell to be broken??”

History: “mmmm…well, that part is less encouraging.”

dismantling the system while being afraid of climate bio isnt really the move. the current administration isn't trying to help 'clean out' the epa to make it more efficient, it's just destroying the last 50 years of progress
