I was reminded of a dream I had recently: I saw an acquaintance in the distance, and as we approached, I waved at them, twice. They passed by me by with no acknowledgment. Why must I be tortured with failed social situations even in my nightly refuge?

I exited the dining hall today without feeling the need to smuggle any rations out. This was a first for me. I admit, my seating choice was not optimal for thievery, but I also felt satisfied with my meal. Perhaps greed need not to consume me anymore.

Today I reached a big milestone. After a long 48 hours quarantined, I have seen the blue sky once again. Never take for granted how glorious the sun rays feels. I am on a quest to attain a suitable ration for my condition (soup). May I see you all again soon.

An update on my condition: yesterday I was afflicted in the body with a terrible fever. However, I fought hard, and won! I have seen the morning sun once more. My condition still lingers, but I am regaining my strength. I will be with you all again soon.
