I just remember when most fans irrationally hated this or that about the pre championship team, and always overreacted about dumb shit, and you remained pretty even keel. And that was like a breath of fresh air then. You’ll always be in that place for me.

I’m happy that citizens had the chance say fuck you to a demented power structure. And the contrast with a demented SCOTUS saying fuck you to citizens is more than enough to show that this shit has to end.

Completely sad, but that was still something incredible and i wouldn’t trade it for any other experience in sports other than 2019.

Voting is not much of an answer. The system is corrupt and serves the beneficiaries of corrupt conduct in such outsized ways. If elections could return sensible governance it would face an impossible opposition that nullified good sense. And such hopes also fail to stop the present dangers.

Was there a systematic killing of journalists, aid workers, and emergency responders? A wiping out of hospitals and schools and cultural centers? All by an occupying nation that was purposely creating conditions for mass starvation and publicly stating goals that can only be described as genocidal?
