Yesterday's post-naturalization ceremony voter registration had a view! New citizens registered to vote while overlooking the St. Louis Arch. Congratulations to our new citizens! 🇺🇸

At yesterday's naturalization ceremony, this new citizen was dressed to the nines in his patriotic American clothes! He was eager to register to vote and looked forward to exercising his new rights in the spring 2026 municipal elections. Congratulations to all who became citizens yesterday!

Sandra Richason is the new Executive Director of the state and local League. Prior to joining LWVMO, Sandra worked for several area non-profits. Chantal Hoffsten was promoted from Bookkeeper to Operations Manager.

This past weekend, members of the Metro St. Louis League helped 61 people register or update their voter registration at St. Louis Pride Fest. We are grateful for our volunteers who were able to support such a great event!

Don't forget the suffragists! On June 14, 1916, women dressed in white and gold lined Locust Street as delegates to the Democratic National Convention walked from their hotels to the Coliseum. The women stood silent to signify that the absence of the right to vote silenced women’s voices.
