At our core, nonpartisanship is not just a policy — it’s a bedrock principle that defines who we are at the League of Women Voters.

While the ERA is fully ratified and was recognized by a US President as the law of the land, it has yet to be officially published in the Constitution.

Today, we need the ERA printed in the Constitution where it rightfully belongs.

A three-judge panel affirms what we knew all along: Alabama’s congressional map and treatment of Black voters were intentional racial discrimination.

This is a major win for Alabama’s Black voters and the VRA.
