Here in Oregon, we’ve been voting by mail for decades. It’s secure. It works. And it protects every voter’s voice.
"The League of Women Voters will not stand by while politicians spread lies to limit democratic participation. Our democracy is strong when every eligible voter can make their voice heard, whether at a polling place or through a mail-in ballot."

SCOTUS just green-lit book bans in schools across the country under the guise of freedom of religion. Our schools should be a place of acceptance and respect, not fear-mongering about the LGBTQIA+ community.

We're in court today fighting President Trump's executive order that threatens to make it harder for millions of people to vote.

The Constitution is clear: The president doesn't have the authority to unilaterally change federal voting rules.

The LWV of Tallahassee and our state League are grief-stricken by the tragic events that unfolded earlier today on FSU’s campus.

This act was a painful reminder of the urgent need for stronger life-saving legislation that can work to prevent gun violence.
