Just finished Andor Season 2, and I think the Andor series and Rogue One combined are the best Star Wars has ever been and will ever be. It is just normal people doing whatever they can, whichever way they can, tipping the dominoes that ultimately can bring down evil of that magnitude.

And Bluesky will never have critical mass because nothing has critical mass. It’s a period of fragmentation. Culture, media, politics, nothing has mass scale anymore. Free yourselves and stop yearning for it.

The best thing about the Dogs’ resurgence has been their chemistry and bonds between players.

This move threatens to derail all of that.. is it worth disrupting the core of the team for a single player without proven impact?

Runs counter to they’re about and could truly blow up in their face.

The Galvin signing, even in a vacuum, is a head scratcher.

At minimum, Sexton will be impacted. If it also forces any of the insane ideas to shift Burton to Fullback/shaft Tracey etc, it’s a monumentally stupid move, disrupting the league leading team all for one unproven player.

Really wish the Bulldogs stopped conceding the first half each week just to pull off the comeback.. doesn’t need to be this hard!

That will bite them later in the season.. but with all the injuries and suspensions, and inability to play even a decent first half, 9-1 is insane.
May 16, 2025 at 11:59 AM
Do the Bulldogs hate a first half or what?!

Everything slow/clunky. Abominable last tackle options. Awful kick-return sets. Boring attack.

Can’t rely on 2nd half revivals every week. For a team that’s so good when they switch on, they do so many dumb things, over and over.

A remarkable, inspiring Celtics response.

Tatum catastrophic injury. Down 3-1. Porzingis zapped by illness. Talk already about blowing up the team in the offseason.

Brown, White, Kornet, Pritchard, Holiday ALL step up. Hauser & Horford, too.

Statement game from Jaylen.
Career game for Kornet.

Jaylen. Fucking. Brown.

What an incredible sequence to lay out for that ball, keep it in, and earn free throws on the other end.

Having an incredible game so far.

The Knicks struggle most on defense when forced to move.. and the thing that dooms Boston every time is when they get lazy with their offense.

A Tatum-less lineup has meant more team basketball.. and it’s working.

If they cut down the mistakes, the Celtics have a chance here..
May 15, 2025 at 12:13 AM
Whichever way this one goes, man, what a game.

Celtics season likely over if they lose, and the self-inflicted 3rd quarter wounds keep feeling like too much to overcome unless they can get some defensive stops.

Tatum and Brunson trading blows. Season on the line. This is the good stuff.

If @leagueeyetest.bsky.social says it, it’s legit.

Obviously a bit biased given I support the team this is about.. but it’s fantastic content, as always, from one of the best voices of Rugby League analysis we have.

Down 20 at the half, the Bulldogs somehow score 32 unanswered points to beat 2nd place Canberra.

Wish it didn’t take the deficit, but every single Bulldog found another gear to power the comeback, sparked by Crichton with the best 12 mins a player has had in the NRL this season.
May 10, 2025 at 6:56 AM
Sexton with two of his best passes of the season in broken play. Short to Hayes with the Raiders defensive-line shot to pieces after the Xerri Linebreak, then sending King into a gaping hole to score on the inside.

Could’ve easily overplayed his hand but made excellent decisions.
May 10, 2025 at 6:31 AM
Stephen Crichton forever.

Most dominant 12 minutes from a player in the NRL this season, and boy did the Bulldogs need it.
May 10, 2025 at 6:23 AM
Brisbane all over again for the Bulldogs.

Error after error. Penalty after penalty. Poor last tackle options. Getting completely out-enthused.

Yes, the Dogs are under-strength, and the Raiders look truly legit. But you can’t make endless mistakes and expect to stand a chance.
May 10, 2025 at 6:02 AM
Celtics might be done. Have forgotten how to play basketball as soon as they build a lead in consecutive home games against an inferior team. Dumb mistakes. Awful play calling. Over and over.

Just horrendous. If they overcome this, it’ll be special. I just don’t think they can.

The newest and most powerful A.I. technologies — so-called reasoning systems from companies like OpenAI, Google and the Chinese start-up DeepSeek — are generating more errors, not fewer. As their math skills have notably improved, their handle on facts has gotten shakier.
A.I. Hallucinations Are Getting Worse, Even as New Systems Become More Powerful
A new wave of “reasoning” systems from companies like OpenAI is producing incorrect information more often. Even the companies don’t know why.

Love the Celtics and they’re incredible. But they also fall into some holes and then keep digging down, with bad decisions compounding.

Absorbing a run from your opponent is one thing, extending it for them over and over is another. Celtics fall in to the latter too often.
May 6, 2025 at 1:12 AM
This is fucking insane. Penalty at worst for the most minor of ‘crusher’ tackles.

Got himself in an awkward position, shifts out of it as soon as reasonably possible, never leaves his feet. Minimal mechanism/danger.

Injuries/suspensions will derail the Dogs’ season due to their limited depth.
📢 Canterbury Jacob Preston was in the mix to make his NSW Origin debut. An untimely suspension could change all that.

Bulldogs started strong then turned into a mistake machine and let the Titans make this a much more competitive game than it should be.

If the Dogs can cut down the mistakes, it’s theirs for the taking. But if they continue to falter, the Titans have the ticker to compete.

Dear Sydney,

We don’t need heaters, anywhere, outside of home.

Buses/trains? Always full enough to end up boiling hot. Pubs? Same. Work? Thermostat works a charm.

It’s just not cold enough here. Feeling cold? Throw a layer on and you’re fine.

Sincerely,
Permanently warm man

Look, no moral victories or ‘won the 2nd half’ bs, but proud to see the Bulldogs not just roll over after one of worst opening halves of all time.

Hopefully that’s the worst they play all year.. but a tough schedule ahead with many suspensions looming. Time to see what they’re really made of.
April 24, 2025 at 12:07 PM
Bulldogs couldn’t have made more mistakes if they tried..

But to the credit of Brisbane, they’ve made them pay for almost every single one of them and done everything right, too.

A loss against a good side was inevitable.. but an absolute disaster like this? Dreadful stuff.
