There is an old strategy of leaking out possible policies to see how they go but also if they change their minds they can implement lesser controversial policies and say look we could have done that but we done this because we are so good.

Need to get creative then.One example stop corporate welfare such as needing to pay universal credit to working people, raise the minimum wage wage. Another don’t give subsidies to the likes of oil companies. Increase unearned income tax levels. There’s plenty that can be done. Other countries do it
