I'm a 2D ( Isometric ) Survival Horror Tactical RPG composer, though it's taken a while to evolve in this direction. I'm also a fan of both Horror Manga ( think Elfen […]

Roguelikes aren't even suppose to be platformers, but I'm way more flexible about that as a 3D platformer fan.

But most of the issue is whether traditional roguelike mechanics would even make sense in this context.

Definitely glad I'm not going for appealing to a specific demographic of western gamers and software people.

Also I finally figured out how to make my own GUIs using XML.

I think maybe to LLM people an alternative history where Expert Systems continued to evolve to be more flexible rubs some the wrong way.

My solution for the alignment problem is by making a system only work within the fictional context of a game world.

Ah yea Silverspook, check out that game studio.

Side note my own game framework is almost finished, was needing to standardize some stuff.

[Indie Gamedev Issues]

I don't know what it is about what I'm building, but it seems to attract mansplainers in the AI development space.
December 24, 2025 at 9:21 PM
I'm really sick of this performative arithmatic culture and mansplaining in the AI world.

So yea its apparently not just my experience. I feel less alienated about not buying from Jerrys again.
Nadia Younes gave Jerry's Artarama 1 star. Check out the full review...
I am a professional artist, therefore, I usually order in bulk, I had two separate occasions wh ...

Why is the personalities of these things so dysfunctional? Even art shops I go to aren't blaming for complaining about Jerrys Artirama overcharging me for stuff.

For those who know me from my music content: I do Iwato Rhythm, but the scale itself is not necessarily Iwato.

I feel like we should update our AI theories as bit, System 1 and System 2 seems...kind of limiting.

The way a human filters out bad information is different from how an animal filters out bad information.
December 24, 2025 at 6:12 PM
Dude I'd trust Zohran over Sam Altman.
December 24, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Well more that I feel like I'm other people's System 2 thinker when they're System 1 basically. I don't mean that as a dig to selfish people, but it does get exhausting having to filter out stuff.

So the fact that China recently switched to eating blue cheese is a current cultural shift.

That's interesting. ( I was asking Gem if it thought that researching how Blue Cheese is made in China would be considered industrial espionage. )

Its a trick question though: China traditionally […]

I do agree with that though that AI is largely a marketing term, rather than a reflection of reality.

I think Im starting to figure out that Bluesky is completely slanted in favor of Large Language Models.

Which is why its impossible for expert system types to post anything on there.
December 23, 2025 at 7:54 PM
But Im fairly sure OpenAI doing at least some kind of money laundering in order to stay afloat. That and art theft.

"OpenAI isnt a bubble, we just use others peoples money to stay afloat."

Footware is the same way: We pay 120 for something thats 60 in Germany.

You can bet those tax dollars are going toward financing Germany's economy.

Just remember not to throw your allies under the bus that wouldnt do the stuff Trump is doing.

Were talking about world leaders here.

Ill eventually make public Guideline Based Constraint Logic. Presently deciding whether a FOSS or Academic approach is better.

[Greedy Family]

But think about that: my step aunt doesnt get anyone anything for Christmas, and yet we spend upwards of 274 dollars on Cheese even though shes never greatful for any of that.

Yet Mom is completely about my spending habits at Jerrys Artirama.

I think Im not interested in […]

So yea if there is any question why I dont upload my work online, its because to make money back I have to charge $100 per painting. As otherwise Im paying $274 dollars to be scraped by web scrapers.
December 23, 2025 at 4:47 PM
So yea sounds like we were charged 74 dollars over 300 for my art supplies at Jerries Artirama.

The pastels were 60 and portfolio 20. Thats 274 dollars.

Not 336.

The amount of energy it takes to make my own paint and brushes, my energy is better spent submitting to Drawn And Quarterly.
