[ESP/ENG] Game Designer for Axes In Motion.

Making games is my absolute passion, don't be shy to reach out!

All opinions are my own. He/Him. #GameDev
I've seen designs that work well for their purpose but they are so specific that after a few versions they become obsolete or they need to be refactored and re-thought because not enough feedback was asked/given in order to prevent future issues.

A well made design takes time, don't rush it!

Test your design. On paper. Think about all the posible outcomes and the chances of those outcomes happening. Think about yourself in the future using the system that you are creating, think about scalability. Don't go for the first thing you create, ask for feedback and talk to programmers.

Also, I'd like to wish you all a great year closing and a promissing 2025! I'm off to work now so be safe!

This goes specially for designers that work with excel and try to have all the possible data into the same system.

Calm down, filter that data, use only the necessary and make it usable for your design colleagues! That's the hard part of this!

(And test it. Make sure it's not a pain in the ass)

I hope this helps someone starting in the mobile free to play industry. Sometimes if the studio is not big enough and you are in a game design role, you may face this issue, obviously a monetisation designer should know this at the very minimum x)

And remember, expensive products might sound good, but the fact that the game is free, has a huge impact in the first purchase. The lower the first price, the higher the long term value. Check the link below for more info!

It's a free tool and the time it takes to start a price experiment is really low, in just a couple of clicks you can test a different price (even A/B/C test) and start collecting data in order to improve the monetisation and the pay 2 fast/free 2 play experience for your users.
