The stuff you do in the next several pages is so fun. Playing with the border shape and trails extending to prior panels. It's so great to learn a new language with all its idioms and idiosyncracies.

I feel similarly. The teeth got me so bad! I also went in cold on recommendations, and though I liked the story, the imagery has stuck with me for months in an unpleasant way.

I don't know how you are seeing fundamental errors here. It seems you're interpreting non-technical language for a general audience in a way that makes it incorrect. I'd urge you to phrase these "corrections" as clarifications for those in the audience who want a more rigorous analysis.
