"From Delta Til Dawn" - I absolutely loved it

-Smoke had the juju (or hoodoo or whatever synonym Ryan found) bag around his neck and it protected him. The "magic" pulsating focus! Stack had a coin or something, maybe? He didn't have the protection. Theme!
-I thought the sawmill blood on the floors would pay off, like bodies under the boards 👀

-I took it as Remmick was longing for that music magic bc he had it in life but was served from it in death, sad
-the metaphor of culture was the "vampirism." How black culture was being taken, and Remmick mentioned the people that took his family's land as well; presumably who turned him to a vamp

-the campfire they were dancing around was primal, the vampires outside of it were the "other." Predators that would pick off members of the tribe that step out of the light
-Remmick had more immunity to damage and the sun bc he was an elder vampire, the new ones didn't. Even the guitar silver!

I played on the line and maybe got my bell rung once. Worst was in college playing pickup in the rain, no pads. Shoulder to the head knocked me out. Also got one playing gk in soccer... So idk man it just happens no matter the sport if you're playing hard.
