Trumpet honeysuckle also attracts hummingbirds, birds, native bees, moths and butterflies. The berries is better food source for birds than the Amur honeysuckle #nativebees #hummingbirds #birds

That’s awesome! Since we finally got a real snow here in south central Indiana, it’s been great walking around to see where the birds feed on the native plants that are still standing. The snow gives a great visual of where a bird has been eating the seeds still on dead stems. #nativeplants

Love finding the spicebush swallowtail (Papilio troilus) caterpillar on the spicebush! Found this one few years back
