no promise this ever gets made but we really like the idea
Whenever a weapon breaks, instead of disappearing entirely, it sits in the player’s inventory, taking up an Inventory Slot but remaining unusable. From there, they can be discarded. However, there is now a Tool/Weaponsmith in Hateno Village. The player can bring broken weapons to the smith and trade them in for Rupees and a new currency, Scrap. By giving both Scrap and Rupees to the Smith, the player can repair any broken weapon. The amount of both Rupees and Scrap required increases with the strength and rarity of the chosen weapon.
