Nearly every one of our politicians just want to keep their job. They are willing to do anything to do so. Speaking out against Trump, if their voting base isn't VASTLY against him, is risking that career. Every group is becoming more group-selfish, and trump is just a result of that.

As a recent undergrad going into masters, it's commonly obvious when someone uses AI to write their paper. Ignoring analytical errors, it becomes a pushover of an essay that doesn't have a strong voice, so it's a nothing/bad essay. Very unconvincing and a chore to read

It's fucked up feeling like if someone in that situation used their 2nd amendment right of self protection with the use of a fire arm, they would either get "rightly" killed or "justifiably" imprisoned. I'd hope to at least fight tooth and nail if that ever happened to me

I felt that way until I, unironically, started playing horror games. And it wasn't like "I finally feel whole" and more of the "I accept this part of me", such as my lack of social interests.
Although for me, the knowledge that I and others get scared is also humanizing.

More than anything else, I am doing better than the me that gave up hope
